Music Submission for "I Do, Maybe" the Movie






Currently we are taking submissions for music for the film. If you feel that you have a hit song and want to get it heard then you can submit your music to be consider for the score on the film. We are looking for all types of music from Rap, R&B, Gospel, their will be different situations in the film where your music can fit. Producers there are opportunities for you to you have a R&B or Hip Hop Track then here's a chance to get your music heard also. All music that makes the sound track will receive distribution from Itunes, Amazon, ect. 




What we are looking for.......

Producers we are looking for back ground music/ transnational music between scenes. This needs to be instruments no word. You music should reflect different emotions happy and sad scenes. The music should build suspense to help bring drama to the scene. Example the couple are on a dinner date things start of good but then turn bad or the bride is happy to see her Dad, that emotion should be brought to life from your music. Examples to compare will be "Jumping the Broom" "Our Family Wedding" "Why Did i Get Married"

Artists we are looking for different types of music from Hip Hop, R&B, and Gospel.

1) The Official Wedding Song: This is the leading song of the movie and sound track. The song needs to be a soft R&B track (Male or Female) where the Bride walks in and throughout the wedding. Example will be an new version of Luther Vandross "Dance with My Father" or Eric Benet & Chanta Moore "Spend My Life With You"  Bruno Mars "Marry You"

2) Gentleman's Club Scene : This song needs to be a Hip Hop Rap song made for a Gentleman's Club atmosphere. Example Young Dro "Make All That Money"  WakaFlocka "Round Of Applause"

3) Official R&b Song : This song will be the official R&B track for the soundtrack. The song needs to be the a new anthem for being Love. The words to reflect the love between a husband and wife, Father and Daughter, and most important two best friends. (Example will be Waiting to Exhale "Count On Me)

4) Dramatic R&B song: This song needs to reflect being betrayed from someone close to you preferred to cover all family, friends, and spouse.  Example Mary J Blige "Not Going to Cry"  with an hip hop feel to it.

5) Dramatic Rap Song: this song needs to reflect robbing someone, shooting someone, and someone dying all in the same song. Example The Game "My Life" 50 Cent 'I Get Money rolled into one song.

All songs need to be original, mix, master and register through Ascap, Sesac, or BMI  if you don't have the full rights to the music please don't submit. Please make sure that you do your research and the music reflects what we are looking for. You are welcome to submit as many songs as you link there may be other opportunities to use your music somewhere else. Stay tune for other song submissions.
